An independent corner of the internet November 5, 2026

A little corner of this site

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: Right now, and probably forever.

Welcome to Notes2Noone (notes2noone.ca). Look, we need to talk about your privacy. Or rather, the total and complete lack of guarantees regarding it. You are visiting a website called “Notes to No One” where a human posts things they can’t even say out loud. Logic dictates this is not a secure banking facility.

Please read this policy carefully. Or don’t. We aren’t your parents.

1. What Information We “Collect”

We don’t actually care who you are, but technology is a nosy neighbor. The internet automatically tracks standard things like:

  • Your IP Address: Mostly so our server knows where to send the text blocks you are reading.
  • Your Browser Type: Whether you are reading this on a phone under your blankets or an office computer when you should be working.
  • Cookies: Not the delicious chocolate chip kind. Just the little digital crumbs that remember you prefer dark mode over blinding white light.

2. The Guarantee of Absolute Non-Privacy

Let’s be completely honest: There is absolutely no guarantee of privacy here.

  • If a tech billionaire decides to buy out our hosting provider tomorrow, your data is theirs.
  • If a mildly competent teenager in a movie-style hoodie decides to hack this website, they will see your IP address.
  • If you leave a comment using your real name and your deepest, darkest personal secret, everyone on the internet will see it. That is how websites work.

We do our best to keep the digital lights on and the gremlins out, but we are using a standard blog template, not a multi-million-dollar cybersecurity bunker. If you are a secret agent, a fugitive, or someone hiding a massive inheritance from an ex-spouse, please do not use your real name here.

3. Third-Party Creeps (Plugins & Analytics)

We might use basic tools to see if anyone is actually reading these thoughts, or if we really are shouting into a completely empty void. These third-party companies have their own privacy policies. They are written by layers of expensive corporate lawyers and are much longer, more boring, and significantly less honest than this one.

4. What We Do with Your Data

Absolutely nothing. We don’t sell your data because we wouldn’t even know who to call to sell it to. We don’t use it to target you with ads for purple lighting fixtures or black notebooks. We just want a quiet corner of the internet to type things out.

5. Your Consent

By staying on this website, you agree that you understand the internet is a wild, untamed wilderness made of copper wires and radio waves. You accept that your privacy is a beautiful illusion, and you promise not to sue us if a rogue satellite crashes into the server farm.

If you do not agree to these terms, please close this tab and go read something incredibly safe, like a corporate financial spreadsheet.
