The stuff I can’t say out loud

Honestly, there is a weird kind of comfort when the middle of the night hits.

When everything goes quiet and the daily noise finally burns out, all the things I’m not allowed to say out loud start floating to the top. They are too heavy to carry around during the day, too loud to keep trapped behind my teeth, but way too intense to bring up in a casual conversation over coffee.

So, they’re just going to live here. Left out in the open, written for pretty much no one.

We spend so much time editing ourselves to be easy for other people to deal with. We filter our texts, fake a smile, and swallow what we’re actually thinking because real life is usually too messy or too honest for polite conversation. We hide the parts of us that are kind of breaking, the random 3 AM doubts, and the quiet confessions we’re too proud or too terrified to tell the people who actually know our names.

But thoughts need a place to go. If you lock them inside for too long, they start messing with your head.

This site isn’t a portfolio. It’s definitely not a polished Instagram grid built for likes and validation. Think of it more like a digital junk drawer of the unsaid. Or a locked diary where someone accidentally left the key right in the lock.

If you stumbled in here looking for life advice or perfect answers, I hate to break it to you, but I don’t have them. But if you’re also carrying around a bunch of thoughts you can’t bring yourself to say out loud, consider this a quick reminder that you aren’t the only one shouting into the void.

Sometimes, just typing it out is the only way to catch your breath.

— Notes to no one.
